About The Event

Monash University is delighted to invite you to the opening of ARC-EESep, the Australian Research Council Research Hub of Energy-Efficient Separation.

AGENDA:

10am - 11am Official Launch Ceremony

11am - 12pm Refreshments & Exhibitions

2pm - 5pm Hub Seminar (G29 & G30, New Horizons)

ARC-EESep is the largest research hub awarded by the Australian Research Council in 2017, and is working to transform key Australian industries to be more energy-efficient, cost-competitive and environmentally sustainable. ARC-EESEP will train a high-skilled workforce to meet the needs of Australia’s separation-related industries (including water, mining, oil and gas), which will enable the transformation of these industries to be more energy-efficient.

ARC-EESep is collaborated with scientists with multidisciplinary background from 8 Australian universities and 3 international universities and matches them with industry players in the complete value chain of separation technologies including materials fabricators, equipment manufacturers and end-users. Currently,  ARC-EESep is working together with 17 companies, locally and internationally.

The Minister for Small and Family Business, the Hon Craig Laundy MP will open the Hub at the event and we are pleased to have Professor Sue Thomas (ARC CEO), Professor Marc Parlange (Provost and Senior Vice-President, Monash), Professor Ian Smith (Vice-Provost, Research and Research Infrastructure, Monash), Professor Elizabeth Croft (Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Monash) with us on the event.

Photographs and video footage will be taken at this event which we will use for a wide range of communications purposes. This may include publication on ARC-EESep websites, social media pages, newsletters or other promotional material. If you do not want photographs or video footage of yourself to be used for these purposes, please let us know.

Please RSVP by 6 July 2018.
